「グランド・セフト・オートIV」は、米Rockstar Gamesが開発している「グランド・セフト・オート」シリーズの最新作。架空の街“リバティーシティ”を舞台に、主人公ニコライ・ベリック(通称：ニコ)として、さまざまなミッションをクリアしたり、街の中での暮らしを体験しながら、金や地位を崇拝するこの街で生き抜いていく。
サイバーフロントから発売されるのは、英語版「グランド・セフト・オートIV」のゲームソフトに、日本語のマニュアルを同梱したパッケージ。
Windows版ならではの特徴として、最大解像度2,560×1,600ドットでのプレイが可能なほか、プレイ映像を録画・編集し、それをRockstar Gamesのコミュニティサイト「Rockstar Social Club」にアップロードすることができる。
動作環境は、CPUはCore 2 Duo 1.8GHz以上またはAthlon X2 64 2.4GHz以上(Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz以上またはPhenom X3 2.1GHz以上推奨)、メインメモリは1.5GB以上(XPでは2GB以上、Vistaでは2.5GB以上推奨)、ビデオカードはGeForce 7900またはRadeon X 1900以上(GeForce 8600またはRadeon HD 3870以上推奨)、HDDには16GB以上の空き容量(18GB以上推奨)。
なお、PS3版とXbox 360版は、日本語版が株式会社カプコンから10月30日に発売されている。
