PS4/Xbox One用のDL版「XCOM 2」発売決定！

2KとFiraxis Gamesは、プレイステーション 4/Xbox One用ストラテジー「XCOM 2」のダウンロード版を国内向けに発売する。発売日と価格は近日発表予定。
「XCOM 2」は、2016年2月にWindows用に発売されたシミュレーションRPG。エイリアンの戦争に敗れ20年が経過した地球を舞台に、地球を手中に収めるエイリアンと、彼らを打倒すべく立ち上がった「多国籍対エイリアン特殊部隊 XCOM」との戦いを描く。
ゲームのシステムはシビアに調整されており、ミッション中に倒されたユニットは復活できなかったり、エイリアンの死体から新たな情報を得たり、部隊員を育て上げ戦力の配分を行なうなど、リアルなシミュレーション要素を多数盛り込んでいる。
