PS5版「ハロウィン ザ・ゲーム」が発売中止。恐怖の化身「シェイプ」が登場するホラーゲーム
CEROのレーティングが取得できなかったことを受け

プレイステーション 5用非対称型ステルスホラー「ハロウィン ザ・ゲーム（Halloween: The Game）」の発売中止が発表された。
本作は映画「ハロウィン」の世界を忠実に再現したアクションゲームで、白い顔が特徴のシェイプことマイケル・マイヤーズが登場。1978年のオリジナル版の展開をベースとした全6章のストーリーに加え、1対4の非対称型のスリリングなマルチプレイも楽しめる作品となっている。
IllFonicが開発、Gun Interactiveとの共同パブリッシングでPS5/Xbox Series X|S/PC向けに9月9日に発売を予定していたものの、PS5版のみ日本での発売が中止となることがアナウンスされた。作品内に暴力とヌード描写が存在し、CEROより国内レーティングを取得できなかったためとしている。
すでにPlayStation Storeのページは閲覧できない状態となっており、予約をしたユーザーはプラットフォーム側より返金が行なわれる予定。Xbox Series X|S/PC版については予定通り販売される。
