英国アカデミー賞、ベストゲーム部門に「Destiny」が輝く！
「マリオカート8」は受賞ならず。「The Last of Us: Left Behind」が2部門を受賞

British Academy Film Awards（英国アカデミー賞）は現地時間の3月12日、ゲーム部門の各賞を発表し、ベストゲーム賞に「Destiny」（Bungie）を選出した。
今回の受賞タイトルは各部門ごとに異なっており、複数受賞は「The Last of Us: Left Behind」のストーリ賞と演技賞（エリー役のAshley Johnson、同役で2年連続の受賞）、「Monument Valley」の携帯＆モバイル賞、英国ゲーム賞のみとなっている。
また日本のタイトルとしては任天堂の「マリオカート8」がベストゲーム賞、音響賞、ファミリー賞、マルチプレーヤー賞の各賞にノミネートされていたが、いずれも受賞ならなかった。その他主要部門の受賞タイトルは以下のとおり。
