大谷選手が“MANGA”スタイルの侍に！ 「MLB The Show 22」限定版のパッケージイラストが公開

　ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントは、4月5日に発売予定の野球ゲーム「MLB The Show 22（英語版）」のMVPエディション及び、デジタルデラックスエディションのパッケージイラストを公開した。

　公開されたイラストでは、通常版に引き続き、大谷翔平選手が採用されているがMVPエディション及び、デジタルデラックスエディションでは、大谷選手も大好きだという漫画やアニメをイメージした「MANGAスタイル」での侍をモチーフにしたイラストとなった。このイラストは「アフロサムライ」などの作品で知られ、自身も大谷選手のファンだという岡崎能士氏の書き下ろしとなっている。

　また、MVPエディション及び、デジタルデラックスエディションでは発売日に先駆け、4月1日よりアーリーアクセスが可能。さらに日本国内に向け、MVPエディションのパッケージ版を数量限定で4月1日に発売することも明らかとなった。
