米Electronic Artsの開発スタジオであるMythic Entertainmentは、Windows用MMORPG「Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning（WAR）」の10日間完全無料体験キャンペーンを3月19日から開始した。無料期間は5月19日まで開催される予定。

　このキャンペーンでは、体験版クライアントのダウンロードからアカウント作成10日後まで、同作を無料でプレイできるというもの。キャンペーンサイトでは、体験版クライアントのダウンロードをはじめ、アカウントの作成が行えるほか、ゲームの始め方など紹介さいている。また、無料拡張版「出撃指令（Call to Arms）」のコンテンツである新キャリア、オーク・チョッパとドワーフ・スレイヤーの導入された。これらのキャリアは体験版クライアントでもプレイすることができる。

　なお、10日間の無料プレイが過ぎた人でも、継続して遊びたい場合は、EAのイーコマースサイト「EA STORE」にて製品版クライアントを購入できる。価格は2,980円（定価5,800円）
