エレクトロニック・アーツは、FIFAの公式ライセンスを受けたモバイルサッカーシミュレーションゲーム「2014 FIFA WORLD CUP BRAZIL ワールドクラスサッカー」の配信を開始した。提供プラットフォームはiOSおよびAndroid。ビジネスモデルは基本プレイ無料のアイテム課金制。
「2014 FIFA WORLD CUP BRAZIL ワールドクラスサッカー」は、「2014 FIFA WORLD CUP BRAZIL」に出場する全32カ国の選手やデータを収録し、タッチ操作で手軽にワールドカップが堪能できるモバイルゲーム。「FIFA」シリーズでありながら、エレクトロニック・アーツ ジェネラルマネージャの牧田和也氏をプロデューサーに、日本のスタッフによって開発された国産タイトルで、日本向けに特化したタイトルとなっている。
モバイル版初の新機能として、自チームの戦力を視覚的に表現したパワーマップを搭載。対戦チームと比較することで、自チームの強弱ポイントが一目でわかるため、より効率的にチームや選手を育てることができる。
