ユービーアイソフトは、Wii U版タクティカルシューター「スナイパー エリート V2」を7月18日に発売した。価格は6,090円。CEROレーティングはD（17歳以上対象）。オンラインモードには対応しない。
「スナイパー エリート V2」は、アメリカのスナイパーとしてプレイできるタクティカルシューター。スナイパーに特化した演出やシステムが特徴となっている。Wii U版ではWii U GamePadにマップや武器、アイテムなどを表示させられたり、Wii U GamePad単体でもプレイできる。
ユービーアイソフトでは発売に合わせ、Wii U版の新トレーラーと冒頭ミッションのプレイ動画を公開した。
